🌿 Textile Health & Safety Tips (Apparel)
Premium fabrics, skin-safe processes.
1. Are Nameria fabrics safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. We use combed and ring-spun cotton, organic blends, and water-based dyes formulated to minimize irritation. Fabrics are free from harsh finishings and designed to be breathable against sensitive skin.
2. Do your garments contain harmful chemicals or coatings?
No. Our fabrics and inks are free from phthalates, formaldehyde-based resins, and heavy metals. We rely on water-based pigments rather than solvent-based or PVC coatings.
3. Are products safe for children and babies?
While most fabrics are skin-safe and hypoallergenic, only items specifically labeled for infants should be used for babies. These styles are made with gentle fibers, soft seams, and low-irritation prints suitable for delicate skin.
4. Are prints safe to touch and wear?
Yes. Our inks bond into the fibers rather than forming a plastic surface layer. They remain soft, breathable, and safe on direct skin contact—even during physical activity.
5. Do dyes cause allergic reactions?
We avoid harsh dyes and processing agents; however, reactions vary by individual. If you are prone to textile allergies, choose lighter, natural-fiber shades or organic cotton styles.
6. How should I wash to maintain skin safety?
Wash new garments before first wear to remove any residual lint or softener from shipment. Use fragrance-free detergents and avoid bleach or fabric softeners if you have sensitive skin.
7. Are prints safe when ironing or heating?
Do not apply high heat directly to printed areas. While prints are non-toxic, heat can affect pigment integrity and reduce breathability over time.
8. Are your fabrics hypoallergenic?
We use hypoallergenic materials whenever possible, especially in essential basics. However, allergies differ per person—cotton styles are best for those avoiding synthetic fibers.
9. Do your garments shed microplastics?
Cotton pieces do not shed microplastics. Blended garments may release trace fibers during washing. To reduce environmental impact, wash with a micro-filter laundry bag.
10. Do your fabrics contain latex?
Our apparel does not contain latex fibers. If you have latex allergies, choose cotton styles labeled "100% Cotton" for peace of mind.
